Cemeteries are beautiful to me, somehow. I find them full of quiet peace, and mystery as well. No one really knows what happens when we die. We may all have our suspicions and beliefs, but until we live through it, we really won't know. Science cannot reach beyond the grave. Anyway, I find them beautiful. I had the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful cemeteries I had ever seen. My friend and I pulled on our rubber boots, brave a misty morning, and wander around this graveyard. It was full of trees and lovely flowers. It was in Virginia, and it filled my heart with peace. I want to go back to Virginia again soon, pretty much to just see that place again. They had several smaller garden areas, with a few family graves in them. All the graves were from hundreds of years ago. I have to say, one of my favorite parts of the graveyard was a memorial to the fallen soldiers in world war two. It was filled with four huge oaks trees growing, and between them row after
